Today, we're announcing the next generation of artificial intelligence (AI) product updates across our business applications portfolio, including the launch of the new Microsoft Dynamics 365 Copilot, which provides interactive, AI-powered assistance across business functions.

According to our recent business trends survey, nearly nine out of ten workers expect to use AI to reduce repetitive tasks in their jobs.
Organizations use Dynamics 365 Copilot to equip their employees with AI tools designed for sales, service, marketing, operations, and supply chain roles.
These AI capabilities enable everyone to spend more time on the most enjoyable aspects of their jobs and less time on tedious tasks. 

CRM and ERP systems have long been mission-critical sources of customer and business data; however, they frequently necessitate time-consuming tasks such as manual data entry, content generation, and notetaking.
Dynamics 365 Copilot leverages recent advances in generative AI to automate these time-consuming tasks and unleash the full potential of the workforce.
Dynamics 365 Copilot combines CRM and ERP to help business users accelerate their pace of innovation and improve business outcomes across the board: 

  • Copilot in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Viva Sales allows sellers to spend less time on clerical tasks.

    AI assists in the creation of email responses to customers and can even generate an email summary of a Teams meeting in Outlook.

    The meeting summary incorporates information from the seller's CRM, such as product and pricing details, as well as insights from the recorded Teams call.

    With sellers spending up to 66% of their day checking and responding to emails, there is a significant business advantage in allowing the seller to spend more time with their customers. 

  • Copilot in Dynamics 365 Customer Service enables agents to provide excellent customer service.

    Dynamics 365 Copilot drafts contextual responses to queries via chat and email, as well as providing an interactive chat experience over knowledge bases and case history, ensuring that this AI-powered expertise is always available to answer questions.

    We're also making it easier for customer service departments to build virtual agents in minutes with Power Virtual Agents' conversation boosters, which use the power of Azure OpenAI Service and Bing to provide answers from company websites and internal knowledge bases that you specify. 

  • Copilot in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights and Dynamics 365 Marketing enables marketers to streamline data exploration, audience segmentation, and content creation workflows. 

    • Marketers can create highly personalized and targeted customer segments using Copilot in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights by conversing with their customer data platform in natural language.

      Marketers may receive recommendations for additional segments that they had not previously considered.

      This new feature can perform complex calculations and match customers who fit a specific profile. 

    • Using the query assist feature in Dynamics 365 Marketing, marketers can describe their customer segment in their own words to create a target segment.

      Marketers can also use Dynamics 365 Copilot to quickly get ideas for new email campaign content by making a simple request.

      To increase the relevance of generated ideas, Copilot makes suggestions based on key topics entered by the marketer, the organization's existing marketing emails, and a variety of internet sources. 

  • Dynamics 365 Copilot

    Business Central makes it easier to create product listings for online sales.

    Color, material, and size of a product can be used to create compelling product descriptions for online storefronts in seconds.

    The tone of voice, format, and length of the descriptions can all be customized.

    Customers who use Shopify can easily publish the products with descriptions to their Shopify store with a few clicks. 

  • Finally, Copilot in Microsoft Supply Chain Center, which customers of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management can access, will proactively flag external issues such as weather, finances, and geography that may impact key supply chain processes.

    Predictive insights then reveal impacted orders in materials, inventory, carriers, distribution networks, and other areas.

    Supply chain planners can then use Dynamics 365 Copilot to automatically generate an email alerting impacted partners and mitigating potential disruptions before they occur.
